Veteran's Credits

New Veteran credit applications are due in the Selectmen’s Office NO LATER than April 15 annually.

The DD214 that states honorable discharge needs to be provided for the Veteran’s Credit.  You need to be a resident in NH for 1 year by April 1st of the previous year for the regular credit and 5 consecutive years for the 100% disabled veterans’ credit.

If you have already been approved for a credit, you do not need to reapply.

The law does require that we verify information every five years to comply with the NH certification process. At least once every five years you will be asked to re-certify and provide updated information. You must respond to these requests in order to maintain your exemption or credit status.
